The first steps in developing serious brand awareness are deciding on the company/product name; creating a company/product logo; and, where appropriate, a meaningful tagline. While seemingly one of the simpler images in a corporate branding campaign, the logo can be a designer’s biggest challenge. This image and text must succinctly and cleverly identify the company’s mission.
The criteria CC Stephens uses in developing logos is to keep it simple and clear using the following guidelines:
