Carol Stephens brings more than thirty years of international and domestic marketing expertise that includes corporate marketing, marketing communication management and agency experience.
During her career she has managed business units as large as 40 million dollars in worldwide sales and budgets exceeding 4 million dollars. As the Group Manager of Marketing Communications at MARKEM Corporation, Stephens worked with clients in Canada, Japan, UK, and Europe. In this role, she developed marketing tools that were customized for these diverse cultures. During this period, supplies business sales increased by 20%.
Carol is currently the Executive Director of the New Hampshire High Technology Council. As a graduate and alumnae of Leadership NH, Carol has developed an in-depth knowledge of community and statewide needs. She served on the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for six years, four of which she was an officer. Additionally, Stephens served two years on "Kids Together" Board. Carol was a board member of the Peterborough Rotary Club for five years. During her Presidency of the Peterborough Rotary Club, she received the Significant Achievement Award for Creativity.
Carol holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, 1990; Masters in Social Communications, 1994, Marketing Certification, Dartmouth College, 1984, CEUs in Communications, pre-press/production, PR – AMA, Sandler Sales Training.
